Access your personal checking account almost anywhere with a Visa® Debit Card from First United Bank.
First United Bank is issuing EMV cards to increase security and minimize fraud to you and retailers. EMV is becoming the global standard for debit card/credit cards. This technology features cards embedded with microchips that store and protect cardholder data. EMV cards look just like a traditional card with the addition of an embedded chip. The microchip provides an additional level of authenticity for the transaction. Since your card has a microchip and a magnetic stripe you can still use it anywhere in the United States that accepts Visa®.
Choose from an array of beautifully designed cards featuring the work of West Texas artist, Laura Lewis.
Make purchases worldwide1 and get cash out of your personal or business checking and savings accounts at ATMs and merchants’ point-of-sale terminal. Cards can be used to make PIN or signature-based purchases.
Your First United Bank Debit Card is PIN (Personal Identification Number) protected, and a limited number of PIN attempts are allowed prior to card capture.
Visa Purchase Alerts is a program available for you to receive alerts when purchases are made with your Visa Debit Card. You can set up text and/or e-mail alerts for transactions that reach a purchase amount threshold, international purchase, or purchases made via the internet or phone. After you sign up, if you receive an alert about a transaction that you didn’t make, notify the Fraud Department immediately at 800-472-3272.
